Illusion of Art finally releases the Soundtrack to The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
. Recording this soundtrack took several tries over a period of about two years. In the end it was decided the most arbitrary approach was the best and so the music was recorded live in the studio to the film with candles and incense burning to set the mood. The soundtrack is essentially a guitar improvisation just shy of an hour with additional noise.
